Marvel Philip

Founder & CEO

As the founder and CEO of our Lily of the Valley preschool (LOVS), I am passionate about providing children with a high-quality education and fostering a love of learning that will last a lifetime. I am a trained Physical Therapist and currently serve as the CEO of EdTheory, a California Department of Education Certified NPA. EdTheory currently employs 300 + service providers, serves over 150+ school districts in CA, NV, WA and has provided direct and virtual special education and related services to 15,000 + special education children across these 3 states and is expanding. I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and loving, 6 year old son. I also love traveling and enjoy the outdoors. With over 15 years of experience working in educational settings, special education, and therapy providers in early childhood education, I bring a deep understanding of the developmental needs of young children and the importance of play-based learning.

At the core of our preschool’s philosophy is a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that fosters each child’s unique talents and abilities. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their world and develop their full potential.

As CEO, I am dedicated to providing our teachers and staff with the support and resources they need to provide the best possible education for our students. I believe in investing in our team members’ professional development, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and growth.

Our preschool’s curriculum is designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children. We focus on play-based learning, hands-on activities, and exploration of the natural world to help children develop a love of learning and a sense of curiosity about the world around them.

As CEO, I am committed to upholding our preschool’s values of respect, kindness, and compassion. We believe that instilling these values in our students is essential to creating a better world, and we strive to teach them through our curriculum and daily interactions.

Overall, as founder and CEO of our preschool, I am dedicated to providing children with the best possible start in life and helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the future.
